Due to the recent school closures during this pandemic and our construction, our office has altered our registration process and require an appointment for our in-person meeting to finalize the registration with original documents. We will first ask that you upload all necessary documents for review and then we will discuss the next step towards registration at that time.

Listed below are the documents and information needed to register your student.
If you are new to the area and have a student within the Havre de Grace Middle School district please read the following for registration.  For those students that are out of state, please have a copy of most recent physical from your Physician as well.  

You will need to provide:

1-Student's Original Birth Certificate
2-Parent or Legal Guardian's Driver's License (valid/not expired)
3-Proof of Residence dated within 30 days of enrollment, with usage page
4-Current Immunization Record
5-Physical Exam (if out of state) or requested by nurse
6-Any legal documentation/court other

AND....
*current schedule for student
*copies of IEP or 504-if applicable
*current grades for a completed quarter-if applicable
*%(percentages earned) grades for any progress reports which are during the quarter transfer grades

Online Registration of NEW students to HCPS. 
If your child has ever attended a Harford County Public School, you will not be able to register online, you will need to contact me directly for future registration appointment time when we re-open.  Please see what you will need to bring to that appointment, listed below.

Once the school is open for employees and before your student starts you will need to bring in the following original documents to be verified and copied to be placed in the student's cumulative record.  The snapshot below is what you may receive as a confirmation of registration to proceed to next step.
